Spiral plate heat exchangers are heat exchangers composed of spiral-shaped plates, which are efficient heat exchange equipment suitable for vapor-vapor, vapor-liquid, and liquid-liquid heat transfer. They are applicable in industries such as chemical, petroleum, solvents, pharmaceuticals, food, light industry, textiles, metallurgy, steel rolling, and coking.

  1. The nominal pressure of spiral plate heat exchangers is specified as 0.6, 1, 1.6, 2.5 Mpa (equivalent to the original 6, 10, 16, 25 kg/cm²), which refers to the maximum working pressure of a single passage. The test pressure is 1.25 times the working pressure. Straightening machine.

  2. The materials in contact with the medium in spiral plate heat exchangers are carbon steel Q235A, Q235B, and stainless steel SUS321, SUS304, 316L. Other materials can be selected according to customer requirements. Processed by CNC punching machine.

  3. The allowable working temperature: carbon steel is -20-350°C, and stainless steel is -20-350°C.

  4. When selecting equipment, appropriate process calculations should be made to ensure that the liquid in the equipment's passage reaches a turbulent state (generally liquid velocity ≥ 0.5 m/s; gas ≥ 10 m/s).

  5. The equipment can be placed horizontally or vertically, but it can only be placed vertically when used for steam condensation.

  6. For use in the caustic soda industry, it must undergo overall heat treatment to eliminate stress.

  7. When there is a large difference in flow rate values on both sides of the passage, unequal spacing passages can be used to optimize the process design.
